INSOMNIA AND SUICIDAL TENDENCY
My mother had attempted suicide on 04/02/24.She had got stroke on that night. We admited her she went into coma. She was discharged from hospital on 13/02/24.Ct scan showed mild stroke.She had depression and insomnia before that incident. She was already taking Ativan 1mg Rivotril 0.5mg Sensival 25mg Sizodon 1mg Now she is having insomnia and she is very much depressed. She is not interested in anything just want to end her life. Please guide me on what to do in this situation

A professional Psychologist will take psychometric assessments to know more about the issues and can diagnose for a better treatment plan. Hi.. may be her medications dosages are not adequate. Kindly review with your treating Psychiatist and review medications. Also cognitive behaviour therapy also will  help the patient.

Hi, I am first of all she needs to be on regular medication for depression because it can relapse even negligence and taking medicine properly can resurface her symptoms because it is severe. Apart from that regular therapy sessions from a psychologist will really help her handle her emotions and behaviour specially her thoughts because it’s a thoughts that cause everything every pain every emotion and every action so working on it really helps I can help you with that I can help you mother with that.
