Infertility and Endometriosis
We have been trying to conceive for the past 2 years. We have consulted a fertility doctor. They have diagnosed endometriosis on the right ovary. HSG was performed in late November of 2021 and the right tube was found to be blocked. It was pushed open by the force of the dye. Ultrasound in January of 2022 revealed a chocolate cyst on the right ovary. The doctor diagnosed this as endometriosis and says that the endometriosis has resulted in the tube blockage. As a result, her recommendation is to go with IVF for pregnancy. We did not get any alternatives from her. We want to consult with you to understand if we can try alternatives such as IUI or medicated natural cycles (taking letrozole and trying naturally). Will these options work and should we insist the doctors here let us try IUI?

Well if the tube is blocked again then there is very little chance that you will conceive through IUI… The best option for you would be to go ahead with IVf
