Infection through cut in mouth
Is it possible to get infected by rabies through this wound inside my mouth ? Could this lead to a potential exposure in future ... I took rabies vaccine 3 months ago ( 4 shots ) ... I don't know how long immunity last for ... As my last vaccine shot was on September ... Am I safe ? Does this wound poses any threat if saliva of any rabid animal touches it ( as it is on my mouth ) ...? Should I take any extra booster if rabid saliva touches this wound ? I have attached the pictures of my wound kindly take a look .

Patient's detailed medical history is required. It is recommended to consult a doctor professional through the Practo app or visit a local medical facility for a thorough evaluation. Please keep in mind that detailed medical history is crucial for proper diagnosis and treatment.
