A dog simply walking over the foot with no bite, no scratch and no lick on broken skin is a Category I contact - no rabies vaccine is needed for that. What does matter is your own open cut on the finger: if you touched the dog's saliva with that cut, that counts as an exposure and needs post-exposure vaccination. Wash any doubtful area with soap under running water for 15 minutes and check tetanus cover too.

If you are asking for yourself like you have cut on you finger just wash it properly running tap water for 10 mins and uou touched the part where dog just licked on his foot as it is not clear mentioned

This would not ordinarily constitute a rabies exposure, especially when there was no known saliva contamination.

No you don’t need vaccination.only if there direct contact of the dog’s saliva on your open wound you need vaccination for rabies
