sometimes you may require periapical surgery ( surgery done at root end of the tooth ) because of infection present at the root ends due to either decay in the tooth or due to trauma in the tooth so kindly send your xray will see it and tell you whether you require periapical surgery or not.

May be u still hav periapical infection at end of roots so consult dentist for confirmation of infection by xray
Root canal treatment not enough apicectomy also performed but only after confirmation of infection
