Infection after nose piercing
My wife had undergone a nose piercing in last November and few days before she visited a doctor as her nose become inflamed for last few days. Doctor suggested an xray to know if sinuses are infected or not. But now he is not available to view the report. The report is showing "Paranasal Sinuses are clear, bony walls are maintained, nasal septum is in the midline, please correlate clinically". Does her sinuses are infected?

No her sinuses are not infected. It would show up on the XRay. If there is an infection in the nose it should be treated with antibiotics and anti inflammatories. This area of the face is considered as the dangerous area because the veins drain into the brainspace.
