If you have taken all 5 rabies vaccine doses properly, you are safe, even if the cat died. Rabies vaccine is highly effective when the full course is completed. For extra reassurance, you can do a Rabies Antibody Titer test 2–4 weeks after the last dose. A level ≥ 0.5 IU/mL means you are protected. No need to worry if the full schedule was completed correctly.
