Colour of the blood remains the same, that is Red. Whether it is implantation bleeding or not depends on the time (in relation to your menstrual cycle) at which it is appearing .

Colour does not matter it can be of any colour implantation bleed is a little less than normal periods The only  way to differentiate between the two would be blood test beta HCG
