Hello Doctor,
Kind request for advantages and disadvantages of Implant full mouth teeth v/s non-implant full mouth teeth.
also provide idea for costing of both types.
As my father whose age is 63 yrs and looking for full mouth teeth replacement.

Dear Practo User,
Implant supported full mouth rehabilitation has many advantages over the other option you are having, that is denture.
First of all it enhances the confidence of the patient. While having a denture sometimes can be a bit troublesome.
Better chewing efficiency.
Durability.
Something which your father will be having for lifetime.
Only thing which I can say not in favour of implants is the cost compared to denture and that I feel is not a disadvantage.
As far as the cost is concerned, cost of denture can be around 15-30 thousand and that of implant supported crowns and bridges can be assessed only after examination.
