Hi. My sister was immunized by all the vaccines in the chart since her birth. Her college in USA required her to submit an antibody test for completion of vaccines. Upon checking she found none of them were there in her body including hepatitis B which is supposed to give live long immunization. Any idea why this is happening? Should she retake all those vaccines? The vaccines she took are from Singapore and India.

Your body continues making antibodies and memory B cells for a couple of weeks after vaccination. Over time, the antibodies will gradually disappear, but the memory B cells will remain dormant in your body for many years. The memory B cells keep a memory of the organism that you were vaccinated against. If you are ever exposed to that organism, the dormant memory cells will recognise it straight away, and rapidly start multiplying and developing into plasma cells. Because the plasma cells have already been trained to produce antibodies against the organism, they are able to produce a large number of antibodies very quickly (within hours).
All she needs is booster dose. It's like tetanus, even though we take vaccine but we have to take them again after any injury if there's a long gap. Only difference is there is variation in how long each vaccine helps before we need a booster.
Since ur sister took vaccine of hepatitis B long ago, A booster dose is what is required.vaccines provide a life long immunity is a stretched lie, often they require a booster dose every 10 yrs. Nothing to worry, get a booster dose.
Next Steps
get an antibody titre done.
get a booster dose of hep-B
She can take a booster dose for foresaid vaccines.
But would need to discuss in detail since different vaccines have a different schedule.
