RCT treatment can also be done in single sitting if the teeth has no severe pain, no pus and no swelling. Don't worry..the success for both single visit and multi visit RCT are almost same

Hi madam,
First and foremost there is need to see your x-ray of teeth, then decide about the vitality of the teeth. If teeth is vital go for the one sitting root canal treatment. If tooth is non vital then I prefer you to multiple sitting.

It is possible to do root canals in 1 sitting. But all teeth may not be indicated for one sitting RCT. Non vital teeth are not root canaled in single sitting. It also depends on the equipment the dentist is using that enables them to finish the preparation fast. Usually not more than 2-3 sittings are required
Single sitting root canals are controversial. In some situations they do work but they are not meant for all cases. I prefer 3 sittings as it gives me time to evaluate the patient body response.
