I-pill while breastfeeding
My baby is 5month old and breastfeeding. I didn't get my period yet. Can I use a contraceptive pill like an i-pill?

You should avoid it while breastfeeding as it may decrease milk output. Also, breastfeeding can cause absence of periods.

Taking a contraceptive pill that is I pill will not help you get your periods!
There are times when you are breastfeeding because of the hormoned changes you don't get your period that's called lactational ammenorrhea

I pill is not a contraceptive.
It is an emergency contraceptive.
You use an emergency contraceptive because of some situations out of the blue. For routine (and planned) use you should take a regular Combination pill (21 days pack). Or you can use an Intrauterine device.

Exclusive breastfeeding can help you from not getting your periods or getting pregnant.
Do a UPT and see .
But if you need to use a pill OCP or Other non steroidal pills are better to take than I-pill.As I pill has its own disadvantages.
