Weight loss can easily be achieved by following healthy well balanced diet. You need to have lean protein as in low fat milk, curd, paneer, pulses, sprouts, lentils and egg white, fish etc. Have whole foods, cut down on wheat by mixing jowar, ragi, Chana flour to make chapati. Eat plenty of vegetables, salad and fresh seasonal fruits. Your plate should be half filled with vegetables, 1/4 with cereal and 1/4 with protein. Include low fat yogurt in meals. Limit tea, coffee intake. Cut down or avoid  bakery products, sugary drinks, sweets, fried foods. Brisk walking, exercise and strength training is recommended. Drink 8-10 glasses of water.
