I'm using pad since I started my periods
I'm thinking of switching to menstrual cup. Is menstrual cup safe option for me as a teenager? Won't it be any problem if I insert something externally inside my body? Is it painful to use the menstrual cup? Will it affect me in future?

Yes it's a safe option.Just maintainance of hygiene is important.Apart from that no other problem you would face in the future

See insertion is about painful and might be uncomfortable initially.. but later on it's safe. No effect on future

Its a safe option Menstrual cup while inserting u might feel little uncomfortable and painful in the beginning but later on u wont feel tht way and U ll b leak free for 8-12 hrs once u insert But sometimes there can be a tear of hymen which is not an issue medically So U can go on with menstrual cup

Yes it is a safe option There would be no problem if you insert something inside your body Initial few attempts can be painful You need to understand that this may make you lose the integrity of the hymen
