I have a fibroid of 10cm in uterus it needs to get operated is it a very dangerous surgery? When I will be back to normal life?can sex life be normal after surgery?

10 CM fibroid needs to be operated. It can be done in two ways - laparoscopically Or open. Recovery time after laparoscopy is 1 week. Recovery time after open surgery is around 2 weeks. However in both fashions, internal stitches wil take 3 months to heal completely. Yes sex life will be normal. If it is cervical fibroid then sex life could be affected.
