Quite likely from a Hiatus Hernia, which irritates the diaphragm causing hiccups. Take regular Gaviscon liquid and Omeprazole 20mg for 2 week course and should settle. If it doesn’t, need Endoscopy. All the best. www.jgsr-health-education.in

Do you have constipation? Since how long, you are having hiccoughs? Is it occasional after meals or persistent? Take syp maalox plus, 5m.l., every 8hours. Avoid fatty,  spicy food, excess tea, coffee. Take small frequent meals Drink more water.

You are most probably having gastric reflux disease.Its because stomach is secreting acid that gets inflamed or gastric contents regurgitated in esophagus or taking spicy/oil excess foods

Due to gerd or acid reflux.take tablet beclofen for quick relief.and also use ppi before food so your symptoms may be resolved.
