From yesterday I am having mild throat pain,runny nose, low grade fever 99 and body aches. Do I need to take antibiotics or not. If yes which is better

As of now there is no need for antibiotics..u can have dolo , saline water gargale ,plenty of fluids and adequate rest

Don’t start antibiotics. Do gargle with salt water twice a day. Take rest . If fever persists for more than 2 days . We need some blood test done. Please consult after 2 days. If fever and pain throat persist.

There is absolutely no need for antibiotics for a single day of throat pain and runny nose mam. What you need is paracetamol and cetrizine. Take bed rest. Salt water gargle. Take lots of water and bland diet. If symptoms persist for more than 2 days. Consult with me online through message and I can guide you. As such this will settle in a day or two ! You won't be needing my help!
