Hi, the weight could be controlled by the diet. What e have to look at is the proportion of the major nutrients. 1st being the carbohydrates, which occupy a major portion of any meal, we don't have to restrict them, rather we have to choose them wisely. What we look for here is giving a major chunk of complex carbs, i.e, all the whole grain cereals and pulses, unrefined sources, with their bran, eg. wheat flour with wheat bran added, oats, etc. Proteins should be complete good quality protein coming from, very important, low fat sources, eg. lean cuts of meat, egg whites, low fat milk and milk products. Fat is what we have to restrict with very less proportion of visible fats and more of invisible fat sources like nits and seeds, eg. almonds, walnuts, different seeds, etc. some amount of physical exercise is also something Which is unavoidable. Atleast 45 mins of brisk walk is a must. With all these tips, you will definitely be able to achieve your desired weight and control your medical condition.
