Hello Doctor,
I have uploaded my 'before' and 'after' photos here. Previously, I had a very clear, spotless, and fair complexion skin. However, a year after my marriage, my skin started darkening, and dark patches developed on my neck and forehead. The issue on my neck started after I threaded the area myself to remove unwanted hair; the skin got stretched, and the area gradually turned dark. I recently consulted a dermatologist video call on the Practo app (in April); I have uploaded a photo of the prescribed medication. They advised a standard skincare routine and suggested a chemical peel for better results, but I haven't undergone the procedure yet.
I want to know if the dark patches on my neck—which were caused by friction—and my dark circles will heal
