• Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment shoulder is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the shoulder with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

Yes you should..pain indicates that you have injured your shoulder. Get x-rays to rule out fracture. Then you can give rest to shoulder joint for 3-4 weeks. If you encounter clicking or pain while moving shoulder or if you are not able to move shoulder by yourself then you can go for MRI to rule out intrarticular soft tissue issues.

Greetings,  sorry for the injury. It is always better to see an orthopaedic doctor in your case.  If you are presently not able to do that then follow the steps as stated below
Next Steps
give ice to shoulder thrice a day and use shoulder sling.  the idea here is to rest the area.   use for a week how you do, if better continue this approach.   if no results visiting an orthopaedic is best.
