I want to try human growth hormone therapy to increase my height. I am 20 years old 5'5" and despite everyone telling me it's not possible I just want to give it a shot.

Don't go for it ..your height is fine ..growth hormone therapy has its own side effects like diabetes, pancreatitis,gynaecomastia ,even on long term certain cancers can also devlop over a period of time ..avoid it ..

Although gaining height is possible, it depends on whether or not your growth plates (epiphyseal plates) have fused or not. You would need an xray and a qualified Physician to determine that.
If you take GH without medical supervision, it may cause several side effects.
There may also be a significant weight increase.
