How to remove Lichen planus scars ?

Hi! I had lichen planus detected by a dermatologist and after I took the medicines she prescribed, the bumps and itching has completely stopped. The spread has also stopped. But I still have the marks left behind. Doctor said they will fade over time but do I have a quick way to get rid of them in a few months to a year ?
