How to get rid of foul smelling gas
I have been suffering from foul-smelling gas for the last three years. No particular food causes it. Any food consumed causes a smell. Sometimes I feel gas being stuck in different parts of my body and it releases very slowly. The main problem is smell. I don't have any other digestive issues other thn occasionally contipation. Charcoal tablets, probiotic meds , hingwastik churna didn't work well. Please tell me how to fix this smell as early as possible. If it is fermentation of food problem in the digestive area how to get rid of this( I am getting married in December) . PS - SIBO and H. pylori reports are negative, Ultrasound is fine and endoscopy is normal. No celiac and lactose allergy. Any other test required?

Care AI Shimmer
“Hello Madam, since your reports (SIBO, H. pylori, ultrasound, endoscopy) are normal and no food allergies are present, the foul-smelling gas may be related to irregular digestion and occasional constipation. In such cases, correcting digestion with proper diet, hydration, and regular bowel habits is most important. Overuse of probiotics or charcoal is usually not helpful if the root cause is not corrected. Further tests may not be necessary unless symptoms worsen, but stool routine and gut microbiome evaluation can sometimes help. Ayurvedic treatment focusing on ‘Agni’ (digestive fire) balance can provide better results.”
Next Steps
• Maintain a high-fiber diet with regular meals. • Drink enough warm water and avoid long gaps between meals. • Consult an Ayurvedic doctor for personalized digestive-strengthening medicines.
Health Tips
• Avoid excess junk, fried and fermented foods. • Include ginger, ajwain, and jeera in cooking. • Practice regular yoga or brisk walking to improve digestion.

I understand your concern — especially with your wedding coming up. You’ve already done the right thing by checking for **SIBO, H. pylori, celiac, lactose intolerance, and structural issues (endoscopy, ultrasound)**. Since those are normal, your case likely falls into the category of **functional digestive imbalance** rather than a structural disease. Here’s a structured way to think about it: --- ## 🔎 Possible Causes (in your situation) 1. **Slow digestion / impaired gut motility** → food lingers and ferments → foul-smelling gas. 2. **Imbalanced gut microbiota** → not always detectable on standard stool or endoscopy. 3. **Incomplete protein or fat digestion** → sulfur-rich gases (the smelly type). 4. **Occasional constipation** → gas gets trapped, released slowly, smells stronger. 5. **Hidden food intolerance** → even if celiac & lactose are negative, FODMAP sugars (onion, garlic, legumes, apples, etc.) can trigger odor without diarrhea/bloating. --- ## ✅ Tests you *may* still consider (if affordable & accessible) * **Stool analysis (comprehensive)** → checks digestion, microbiome balance, parasites, yeast. * **Breath tests for fructose / sorbitol malabsorption** → sometimes smell relates to these. * **Thyroid profile** → sluggish thyroid can reduce gut motility and cause fermentation. --- ## 🌿 Ayurvedic + Natural Approach Since charcoal, probiotics, and hingvastak churna didn’t help much, your root problem may be **low digestive fire (Agni) with Ama (undigested residue)**. ### 1. Strengthen digestion * Take **1 tsp ***+ ****+ ****mix** (lightly roasted & powdered) after meals. * Warm water or ******water** (****water) through the day instead of cold drinks. * Avoid **eating heavy proteins at night** (paneer, eggs, meat, dals) — have them in lunch. ### 2. Remove Ama (toxins from fermentation) * ******at night** (½ tsp in warm water) → regulates constipation + clears residue. * If stools are sticky/slow → ******churna** ½ tsp before meals. ### 3. Correct gut flora naturally * Home probiotic: **fresh homemade buttermilk (takra)** with roasted jeera + pinch of black salt daily after lunch. (This works better than capsules for many). * Soak **1 tsp fenugreek (methi) seeds** overnight, chew in morning → reduces fermentation. ### 4. Avoid aggravating foods (at least for 2–3 months) * Reduce **onion, garlic, excess dals/rajma/chana, cabbage, broccoli** (all high FODMAP). * Cut **carbonated drinks, packaged foods, refined sugar**. * Instead choose **moong dal, rice, gourds, pumpkin, carrots, papaya** — easily digested. --- ## 🧘 Lifestyle * Eat at **regular times** (no skipping, no late-night heavy meals). * Gentle exercise or **30 min brisk walk daily** → improves motility. * Don’t lie down immediately after meals. --- ## ⚡ Fast Relief for Wedding Prep If you need something quick-acting while deeper digestion heals: * ******churna** () ¼ tsp with honey after meals — reduces foul gas. * Or ******+ Black salt + Lemon drops** in warm water after heavy meal → instant relief. --- 👉 This doesn’t look like a dangerous disease since your reports are fine — it’s more a **functional digestion + microbiome imbalance issue**, which Ayurveda can handle well with **Agni deepana (digestive fire correction)** and **Ama pachana (clearing toxins)**. --- Would you like me to make a **2-month step-by-step diet + herbal protocol** (till your December wedding) so that you can track improvements week by week? Advice- self medication is hazardous, always consult ayurvedic doctor before taking ayurvedic medicine. Consult me personally for details.

The fowl smell is not normal and is a sign of faulty microbial health. Many a time a conventional tests give false negative results which is when symptoms are given more weightage when it comes to zeroing down  the cause. Based on the complaints you have mentioned a deeper symptom analysis and lab analysis is required. You can use the the Free HAIP Sibo Analysis and Free HAIP Autoimmune Analysis as a tool to aid in finding the solution. Also, the role of liver cannot be undermined in this as it is the main detoxifying organ. Since you have a few months in hand before marriage, I will suggest you to follow HAIP DIET based on the anti-inflammatory principles of Ayurveda and book a consultation so that proper herbs and supplements can be started asap. The consultation is valid for 1 month in which you will be trained how you can improve your gut health with food and basic herbs. Also i would suggest getting your HAIP Root Cause Analysis done which is based on the findings of multi parameter blood reports.

1. Gas stuck in different parts of the body 2. Occasional constipation 3. Foul smell of flatus In Ayurveda, it needs some more special concern to your case. Step 1 - Need to assess your agni and prakriti Step 2 - Need to know about your lifestyle and diet (bakery items, pizza, maida, corn flour etc.,) Step 3 - Need to assess whether Ama condition is present (that means that sticky substance which is obstructing your body channels.) - which is one of the cause for foul smell of your flatus Step 4 - Already ur reports are all normal Step 5 - Needed proper Ayurvedic physician consultation Step 6 - In this Condition where Ama condition present, It requires deepana, pachana drugs like Chitrakadi vati, Agni tundi vati, Laghu sutasekhara ras, shanka vati, Pathyadhi kadha, bhunimbadi kadha etc., drugs. Step 7 - After your agni and ama status gets cleared then ur foul smelling of flatus gets removed. Step 8 - After clearing ama and vitiated agni, u need to purify your body with panchakarma procedures. Step 9- Ayurveda is not only for curative purpose but also for Prevention purpose. So, Kindly detoxificate the body with panchakarma procedures as ur seasonal routine. So, that your body doesn't accumulate with such conditions again and again.

Foul-smelling gas despite normal reports suggests deeper digestive imbalance (ama / weak agni). Since usual remedies haven’t worked, you may need personalized Ayurvedic evaluation and gut detox. With proper medicines & diet, this can be managed effectively before your marriage. I suggest you consult me for a tailored plan.
