How to count fetal kicks in Cholestasis
Hi Doctor, My wife is diagnosed with Cholestasis in pregnancy. We are in 32nd week of pregnancy. Have been advised to STRICTLY COUNT FETAL KICKS. Please advise how to count fetal kicks in this condition. How to differentiate between fetal activity abd fetal kicks . Thanks

Your question is genuine. It is very difficult to distinguish between a foetal kick and other activities of the foetus. Even the books don't give a precise definition of foetal kicks. Please go for NST if you have a doubt. Then the machine does the counting of foetal movements.

When u feel the baby moving it means a fetal kick or count

Both wud be same U should be able to count ten movements morning 9 to night 9
