You can have 2-3 cups of tea in a day. Don't drink tea on empty stomach and not with meals as it affects absorption of calcium, iron and other nutrients.

Excess intake of caffeine is not good for health. It may have impact on nutrient absorption. Especially when you have your tea with a meal. Its suggested to avoid intake of tea specially with meals which are rich are rich.
I would suggest not consume more than 3 cups of tea and coffe perday or any other caffeinated beverages for overall good health

Drinking to much tea may cause negative side effects.
Many types of tea contains caffeine which, when overused , can cause anxiety, unwanted stress, poor sleep, increase stomach issues, headache, heartburn and create caffeine dependency.
