Hello Ma'am the protocol which is followed for such a condition is you have to visit a dentist 1st he/she will take an X-RAY of the involved teeth and then evaluate the condition of your teeth weather it needs to be filled or it needs an RCT (its a procedure where the pulp inside the teeth is cleaned because it has infected due to the bacteria's, and then filled. It's a painless procedure as it is carried out under local anaesthesia. The cost may vary depending upon the condition of your teeth and dentist ranging from 3k-9k) followed by capping.

Hi, That is the cavity which is there between two teeth. Cavity increases in size if left untreated. If cavity reaches till nerve supply, pain is felt sometimes while chewing and sleeping. If this is the situation, you have to get root canal treatment (RCT) done to save the tooth. In RCT, infected nerves are cleaned and removed. The space created by cleaning is then filled. It may cost you around 5k per tooth if done by specialist (ENDODONTIST). It can be done in one visit or multiple visits, depending on the condition of tooth. Root Canal Treatment is done after injecting local anesthesia which cuts off pain during treatment.

hello, you need to visit a dentist and get an x-ray done. if there is infection to the roots of the tooth, you need to get it treated. Root canal treatment involves cleaning of the canals which is one of the most common and painless procedures carried out in all clinics. the cost and the time taken for the procedure depends on the case, the dentist and the location of the clinic. The cost can vary from Rs. 3,000-10,000/-.

RCT -In this procedure, the infected pulp is removed and the inside of the tooth is carefully cleaned and disinfected, then filled and sealed with a rubber-like material called gutta-percha. Afterwards, the tooth is restored with a crown or filling for protection. Cost of RCT with A crown can vary from (4000- 15,000) depending upon the quality of crowns- Full Metal Crown, Metal Ceramic Crown, All Ceramic Crowns and the time - Generally, single appointment RCT will cost more than 2-3 appointment RCT. RCT is painless now a days, but yes not pain free.It depends upon the fear perception of the patients and how infected the tooth is?-which can be ascertained by X-ray and antibiotics taken beforehand will help reduce the pain.
Next Steps
X-ray is needed before the treatment to see the extent of damage, as well as antibiotics are to be taken prior the appointment for RCT is made.(Visit a dentist for all the Dental issues)

Please make a visit to your dentist for the proper resolution of your query..... you have to understand that no one on this forum has the time to explain this procedure to you IN DETAIL.....  the cost of treatment varies from doctor to doctor, so does the duration of the treatment..... but definitely one thing is for sure that the treatment is going to be absolutely painless..... Regards

Hello, Mam,As a Root canal specialist I would advise you to go ahead with the treatment if you you want to save the tooth, which is recommended.RCT treatment is a procedure to salvage the tooth by removing all the infected tissue from within the tooth, fill and seal the roots with a special material, build up the tooth and then cap the tooth. Hello, this is may be due to caries in your teeth and pain mostly due to food lodgment in between teeth, or if pulp( vital part of tooth or core part of tooth that maintains tooth and carries sensations ) is exposed and food is directly impacting on it. and if this continues someday it would have pus in it or swelling. Root Canal Treatment(RCT) is cleaning that pulp chamber. Now a days there are painless procedures for RCT. Costing depends on skills and equipments used in RCT may be 2000 to 10000 varies upon Doctors. Time Depends on single sitting or multiple sittings .
Next Steps
Better to take Xray of Tooth and keep clean the caries part of tooth.
Health Tips
Using flossing and removing food by brushing after Lunch/dinner will reduce pain.

Hi,If you have pain in teeth that means the cavities are deep which will be decided after x ray is taken & mostly root canal will be required.root canal treatment is a procedure in which after removing decay the infected nerve is removed & canal is cleaned with instruments & gutta percha filling is done ,after which cap is put. There are 2 types multiple(root canal done in 2 or 3 sittings ) & single sitting root canal treatment(done in one sitting) .The cost varies & with advancements in dentistry the procedure is relatively painless.Take antibiotics & painkillers for pain relief & avoid eating from the painful side.
