Yes u need to reduce ldl cholesterol.. U can start by taking dietary precautions like reduced oil n fried stuff intake.. Include a regular physical exercise like walk or jog.. Or work out at home.. Details u can ask from trainer.. If it doesn't reduce in 3 months repeat work up then can start you on medication like statins .
