High temperature at head
My baby is 11 months old has 101 degree fever from last evening. His head is soo hot.. we went to hospital doc gave the medicine. The fever got reduced but came back after 5 hours. This is happening every time the medicine given. How long does the fever lasts and why is the head is so hot when the temperatures increases after 5 hours every time the medicine is given

Temperature of head is always slightly higher compared to the body . U can give medication every 6hrly as is its duration of action.

Hello ! Head will b hotter than body in children . Chek temperature with digital thermometer in arm Pit. Give calpol wen der is Fver. Maintain hydration
