High prolactin
My TSH level is 2.8 and prolactin level 42 and doctor gave me ova shield tablet and informed me to come on 11 th day ...doctor have not given me cabergolin is it ok if I am not on cabergolin ...or is it causes any problem in ovulation and conception

Hi .start tab. Cabergolin 1 mg once a week x 2 weeks. Do USG breast and send reports.

Boderline  raised prolactin levels will not pose  any problem in ovalution and conception

She called you on day 11 to see if you are ovulating or not. She will treat your prolactinoma if needed. Consult her for your plan as she is your gynec. In case you wont ovulate then she might add cabergolin.

If your ovulation and menstrual cycle is ok,then adding cabergolin is optional

If your cycles are regular and you don't have any symptoms it will not cause any problem
