It is viral infection. Are there more symptoms other than fever? According to that medicines can be given. If ibugesic and PCM is not working then give syrup Meftal-P

When the fever is controlled with medicines, temperature reduces temporarily, but Ama ( toxins)is still present, so the fever does not settle completely & keeps recurring. the persistence of fever beyond 5-6 days suggests the need for systematic evaluation and not just fever suppression.
Next Steps
At this age, basic tests like CBC & CRP are usually advised first, & further investigations (Dengue, Maleria, urine examination) decided based on clinical findings.

In Ayurveda, prolonged fever in children is usually due to Agnimandya with Ama accumulation. Since the child is active between fever episodes, it may be a Vishama Jwara or post-viral fever. Along with antipyretics when required, Ayurveda focuses on improving digestion and immunity. Light, easily digestible food, adequate fluids, and rest are important. Lukewarm water sponging can be continued. Self-medication should be avoided in children. If fever persists beyond 5–6 days or crosses 102°F repeatedly, detailed evaluation by a doctor is necessary to rule out infection and plan appropriate treatment.
