High Cholesterol
Hello Doctors... Before 1 month my C-section done. Now i am taking iron calcium and thyroid medicine. I did health checkup. My cholesterol level came high. After c-section I took too much protein. Is it the reason for cholesterol? How to reduce it? Medicine required? Or lifestyle and diet modification is enough? Please help.

If you are taking Desi ghee, traditional ladoos that are given to young mothers in Indian families, you need to eat those in moderation and not overdo it. If by protein you mean Paneer, even that contains cholesterol. Eat lots of vegetables, and have adequate water if you are breast feeding your baby. Light exercise like brisk walking ( no lifting of weights post C- section).
Health Tips
avoid situps, crunches and lifting weights for exercise
