Right now, you do not need any meds for high b.p. However occasional rise of B.P. does require, cut down salt in your diet, avoid fatty food, take regular exercise, pranayam and learn relaxation techniques. Measure B.p. once a week at least.

Hi, thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern. It’s not uncommon for blood pressure to spike during periods of stress or anxiety, especially in those with an anxiety disorder. Since your BP returned to normal (120/80) the next morning, it seems like a temporary stress-induced rise rather than persistent hypertension. However, I do recommend monitoring your BP regularly over the next 1–2 weeks and noting any patterns. If the high readings continue or become more frequent, further evaluation would be needed. To understand your condition more thoroughly and guide you properly, I’d suggest connecting with me directly. This will allow for a better evaluation, review of any relevant history or tests, and a personalized plan to help manage both your blood pressure and anxiety effectively.

Hypertension can be primary or secondary Hypertension. Primary Hypertension is usually genetic and seen in the older age group. Secondary Hypertension can be seen in young individuals. In your case if your BP raised during some panic attacks or anxiety attack no problem. But if it's random, and if there are other symptoms like Headche ,Vomiting , Nausea, Blurring of vision, syncope you have to be alert. Ideally to diagnose Hypertension we have to do Ambulatory 24 hour BP monitoring which will give you an exact picture.
Next Steps
Check BP once you sit down calmly for 20 mins no coffee ,tea or smoking 1 hour before . if you have these symptoms or persistent elevation of BP on more than 2 occasion in an 1 hour interval you have to be cautious.

Stress causes an increase in BP( and vice versa also happens). If you have anxiety disorder, it can be treated. Do not let it linger on.

Yes keep checking. And make a chart of daily BP morning and evening. If at any point of time it is high (>140/90) then retake after 5 minutes. For any further doubts, kindly consult here or at 9999 x 104 x 408
