Many lesions resemble herpes... So you need a consultancy from a oral medicine or periodontal expert. If you are having fever then you can take paracetamol tablet as and when required. Herpes is locally treated by acyclovir ointment, by applying the cream topically on the effected area.
Next Steps
Do not touch the area and do not share your food or drinks with your family or friends.
Health Tips
The lesion will heal in 10 days... Just keep in mind to moisten the area with cream or lotion when scar has formed. It's contagious so do not touch the area and also do not allow others to touch the area. When the vesicles rupture, person should clean the area regularly and then after scaring just moisten the area.
