You may have been vaccinated with hepB vaccine as its been a standard from early 90s.Get your anti Hbs antibody test done,if the level is more than 10 ,you don't need the vaccine. However if value is less than 10,you can take 3 dose series of hepB vaccine

You would have been vaccinated as it is in the vaccination schedule for kids. Check that first with your parents if possible,  if not, you can go to any govt or private facility to take the vaccine.

Since you were born in 2000, it is possible but not guaranteed that you received the Hepatitis B vaccine in childhood. In many countries, including India, Hepatitis B vaccination became part of the universal immunization program gradually in the early 2000s, so some children received it and some did not depending on the hospital or state program. If you do not have vaccination records, the safest approach is to either check your Hepatitis B antibody level (Anti-HBs test) or simply take the vaccine again, as receiving it again is safe. The vaccine used is commonly: • Engerix‑B • GeneVac‑B
Next Steps
For a 25-year-old adult, the standard Hepatitis B vaccination schedule is: 3-dose schedule: • 1st dose – Day 0 • 2nd dose – After 1 month • 3rd dose – After 6 months from first dose Alternative option: • You may do a blood test for Anti-HBs antibody. • If the level is ≥10 mIU/mL, you are already protected and no vaccine is needed. • If it is low or negative, then start the 3-dose vaccine schedule.
Health Tips
• Hepatitis B spreads through blood, sexual contact, and contaminated needles, so vaccination is strongly recommended for adults who are unsure of their status. • The vaccine is very safe and provides long-term protection. • Even if you were vaccinated earlier, taking the vaccine again does not cause harm if records are unavailable. ⸻ If you want, you can also share whether you have any previous vaccination record or blood test report, and I can guide you further about whether you should test first or directly start the vaccine through an online consultation.

If you are not sure about hepatitis B vaccination, you can still take it now. For adults, the usual schedule is 3 doses at 0, 1 and 6 months. Please consult me for proper advice and vaccination guidance.

Since we are not sure about the vaccination taken earlier, you can still proceed with the vaccination now. The schedule usually consists of 3 doses: the first dose at 0 month (today), the second dose after 1 month, and the third dose after 6 months
