Heavy Stress, Anxiety
Doctor, I was diagnosed with mild disc bulge.. gone through alopapthy treatmen, Physiotheraphy, Meditation. I feel better compared to how it was before.. However, I continue to have muscle weakness, Pain in soles and palms .. with continued stress at home and work.. I was willing to take Ashwagandha after reading a lot about it. . please advice .. Also I have BP fluctuations.. Was given Telma 20mg for short duration use.. How do I manage and is it better to take Ashwagandha..? Thank you.,

Due to disc bulge corresponding nerve get damaged and cause symptoms like pain,numbness etc.There have many treatment modalities in ayurveda for the neurological strengthening and also and for the prevention of degenerative changes in the vertebrae and all other supporting structures.Generally ayurvedic doctors suggest kaphavathasamana, apana anulomana ,nadibalya oushadhas like Ashtavargam ,Cheriyarasnadi,Sahacharadi kashayam ,gulgulu preparations, Gandhatailam,sahacharadi avarthi , Sindhvaraerandam etc for internal and also with external oil application and therapies like kativasthi ,kizhi,dhara etc.While counting the Panchakarma procedures Vasthi (medicated enema)is important in the treatment of neurological issues and joint strengthening.Yoga and pranayama also help you relieving stress and maintaining the healthy condition of mind and body.As ayurvedic treatment aspect is vary from person to person its better to consult doctor nearby you.

Please don't take any medication without consultation with some specialist as prakriti is very important to take care into consideration. Acupuncture and Ayurveda combined together helps in recovering a lot in very short time. As for now you can give pressure daily for 5 minutes on a point located between two eyebrows ajna chakra...And twisting of little toe of both foot will reduce your slip disc pain. Hot fomentation is recommended.

Ashwagandha is good for everyone. You can take it .Meanwhile get your vitamin D3 and B12 levels checked. Take a balanced diet .Have protein in each meal.

For disc problem u.must do panchakarm procedures like Stephan swedan ,pins Sweden. Hypertension might be due to stress & pain too. U can use ashwagandha 2 tab at bed time will better for both issues.

Heavy stress and hypertension is a very bad combination even for a young age like you. Phycological stress affects the muscles and causes pain many times. Body and Mind are highly related to each other . Disturbance to one will affect the other too. What form of aswagandha you are taking. As you don't have diabetes, arishta form will be better.

Don't carry the stress as in long term it affects many of your normal activity. Crush 3-4 Garlic piece and boil in milk. Take the filtered portion (50ml) empty stomach in morning. Check BP regularly Have a Healthy body and peaceful mind
