Hello,
Diarrhoea can be an initial side effect of fluoxetine. Hence please discuss this side effect with your Psychiatrist. Dose adjustment, or some other strategy can be done to help this side effect. Else the medicine can be changed. An assessment to rule out any other cause for this diarrhoea will also be needed. Hence please do not worry, and rather discuss this with your Psychiatrist.
