My father creat is 8.4 Having swelling in both feet and in left hand . Too much weakness and pain in movement , getting up and down. Inactive , lethargic al day He is diabetic for 18 years HbA1c 4.8 . Takes insulin 8 & 6units What should be done to avoid dialysis bcz patient is not giving consent ? Alternative treatment ?

Good afternoon, HBA1c can't be 4.8. Just check it What about HB(hemoglobin). Kindly consult a nephrologist. When doctor said to go for dialysis, you have to do it, there is no other way. Oedema in feet etc What about the fluid intake? Protein also has to be Restricted. For diet therapy Kindly contact me as soon as possible. Thank you.
