Lower abdominal pain radiating to legs
I had undergone kshar sutra & fissure tissue removal surgery 4 months ago. Now doc told that in the wound area there's a dot like thing more like beginning of fistula. Which is causing incomplete evacuation. I've undergone almost 4 anal surgeries. My body has become weak & lost lot of weight coz of those painful procedures. I really can't undergo another surgery for same. I have other probs & surgeries too.I have no bleeding or discharge. No much pain too. Is there any alternative way. Please suggest any non surgical cure 😭🙏

From a nutrition perspective, diet can play an important supportive role, especially after repeated surgeries and significant weight loss. The priorities would be to restore your strength, maintain adequate protein and calories, keep stools soft and well-formed, prevent constipation/straining, and support tissue healing. However, if your doctor suspects the beginning of an anal fistula, diet alone cannot reliably close or cure a fistula. Since you currently have no significant pain, bleeding or discharge, it would be reasonable to discuss your case with a colorectal/proctology specialist for a second opinion before deciding on another procedure. Meanwhile, please avoid crash diets or unnecessarily restricting food. A personalised nutrition plan can help you regain the weight and strength you’ve lost without worsening bowel symptoms. Your protein, fibre, fluids and meal consistency would need to be adjusted according to your bowel movements and the exact surgical history. If you’d like, I can help you with a personalised post-surgery nutrition plan focused on healing, healthy weight regain and comfortable bowel movements, while keeping your current symptoms and medical advice in consideration

From a diet perspective, focus on adequate calories and protein to rebuild strength and support tissue healing after repeated surgeries. Include protein-rich foods, fruits, vegetables, whole grains and plenty of fluids to keep stools soft and prevent constipation or straining. Avoid very spicy, oily and highly processed foods they worsen your symptoms. However, if a fistula is suspected, diet alone cannot cure or close it. Please consult a colorectal/proctology specialist for proper evaluation and discuss non-surgical options if appropriate.

Since you’ve had recurrent anal surgeries and your doctor has mentioned a possible early fistula, this needs to be evaluated by a colorectal surgeon/proctologist before deciding on any treatment. Diet or supplements cannot close an established fistula, but appropriate nutrition can support healing, prevent constipation and make bowel movements easier. For now, focus on adequate fluids, a balanced high-protein diet, fibre according to your bowel tolerance, and avoiding straining during bowel movements. Since you’ve also experienced significant weight loss and weakness, your nutritional status should be assessed as well. Please don’t undergo another procedure or try to manage the suspected fistula solely through diet without getting a second surgical opinion. A colorectal specialist can also tell you whether a less-invasive approach is appropriate in your specific case.
