I am an athlete and I do heavy workouts I am taking Whey protein as a supplement in my diet. Should I go for L-glutamine or Glutamine for muscle building, and take it with whey? Or say, if I can't buy whey anymore coz of some money crisis can I go for glutamine?? Is this a good option. Please suggest I do need a well maintained body and want to be great with lean muscles. Thank you.

Hi
I would suggest you take a natural protein sources to meet your protein requirements. Whey protein doesn't have harmful effects but I always say take food as your first medicine or first supplement.
If you are confused then I would recommend you to meet an expert for counselling session so that he or she can assess you better.
