Hi It could be due to posture as you may be bending your neck or could be accomodative spasm which is a result of excessive near work But as you have rightly pointed out , it could be due to change in spectacles number My advise is to suspend near work for a day and do neck massage If there is no relief get your refraction done again

Hi ! To know if your refractive error has changed you will have to visit an Ophthalmologist . That is a possibility . However, most likely your headache is due to mobile overuse . U may try the following Take regular shut eye breaks say every half an hour of studying Follow the 20-20-20 rule . Start using a lubricant eye drop Check if u have antiglare coating on your glasses Stay hydrated . Have lots of water Avoid direct exposure to air conditioner or fan air. Take care

Mostly the power of glasses gets stabilized around 21 years of age. But a fine adjustment of power can be done. So please get a spectacle power check up done whenever safely possible next. I don't understand the concept of study glasses at this age. If you have glasses you should use it all the time as you are having issues of headache. Few instructions: 1. Follow 20-20 rule. After every 20 minutes of any near work say laptops, mobile or reading take a break and focus for 20 seconds at a far away object at least 20 meters away. 2. Frequently blink your eyes while working, if not possible to remind yourself to blink then at least after 30 minutes of your work slowly close your eyes 10 times. 3. Adequate water intake at least 3-4 litres per day 4. Adequate sleep at least for 7-8 hours 5. Do not rub the eye 6. Use anti reflective coated glasses if you have spectacles 7. Cold compress to the eyes 3 times a day (Can dip clean cotton in refrigerator cold water and keep over closed eyes for 30 seconds)
Next Steps
Start with Eyedrops Genteal 1 drop 3 times a day for both eyes.
