Hba1c and rbs
I had diagnosed with covid 5 months back and got treated in hospital with steroids and anti biotics. Around 2 to 3 weeks they were used. Before admitting my random blood sugar was 94. Now I had done random blood sugar test which was 141. This was done post breakfast. Also hba1c was 5.9%. I had put on weight in these 5 months and physically less active. Is this normal and due to weight?

Hi, Your HBA1C was below 6.5 which is normal And Random Blood Sugar is 141 which is also considered normal post breakfast . So as you have gained weight you should start Daily exercise of 1 hr and reduce carbohydrate and fat intake to decrease complications of weight gain
