My doctor has asked me to reduce weight to reverse diabetes  without medication my concern is whether I should completely cut off sweets chocolates for life or can I have it occasionally ?

Hi , I can understand your concern. Check for FBS and PPBS levels. If those are high, medicine with low dose is advisable. If they are normal, proper diet with exercise will do..and yes you should avoid sweets and processed foods.
