Did I reverse my diabetes
My last hba1c was 6.6 in Dec 22 weight was 150 kgs fasting sugar was 115 since then I've reduced 20 kgs now fasting is 98 hba1c is down to 4.6 do I still need to worry about diabetes?? I consumed 0 medication kindly advise whether I'm still prone to diabetes?

Great work! This is called diabetes remission. We don’t use the word reversal any more, as if you gain weight and go back into your poor lifestyle habits you will get diabetes back again. But if you manage to maintain this weight and continue with healthy lifestyle habits - your sugars are likely to stay in the non-diab range! Well done

If You are maintaining these readings for more than 6 months without any medication then yes you have reversed your diabetes but don't be complacent. Just take care that you do not regain weight and focus on continuing your weight loss journey. Kudos!!
