This is a case of diabetes. The test is probably accurate as both HbA1c and RBS are high.
For the sake of satisfaction, you may repeat the tests.
Your concern should be regarding further management as there is risk of
1. Kidney damage
2. Retina damage
3. Heart disease
4. Stroke
5. High sugar related coma
6. Decreased immunity
Next Steps
Treatment needs to be started ASAP as the abnormally high levels indicate that your friend has probably had diabetes for years
Health Tips
Treatment will involve
1. Lifestyle changes
2. Anti diabetes medication
Please get the following tests/reports done
1. RFT
2. Fundoscopy every 5 years by an ophthalmologist
3. Lipid profile
Let me know the results and we can workout a management plan.
Hoping to have been of help,

Dear female,
It is pointing towards the uncontrolled diabetes. Since how long your frnd has symptoms if any, whats his age? Need a detailed medical history. Kindly consult with me on 94 two six eight six 78 nine six.
Rather than repeating the test Meet with a doctor who will most probably do a glucose tolerance test to confirm whether your friend is a diabetic or not.
Diabetics often do not have any symptoms but if untreated he can have problems.
With lifestyle changes and regular medicine he can control his blood sugar so tell him to see a doctor soon
You need to ask your friend to start anti-diabetics and lifestyle and dietary modifications along with sugar levels charting before and after meals…ask for symptoms like excessive thirst, excessive hunger, excessive passage of urine
It is very high. If he has no symptoms, he should take sugar free diet, regular exercise.
Tab metformin 500mg one just before lunch and repeat fasting and post meal blood sugar after 4 weeks, HbA1c after 10 to 12 weeks.
Check for fasting glucose and 2 hours post prandial glucose level to correlate with the high HBA1C.If both are high diabetes is confirmed.Normally HBA1C is tested after 3 months
