From the history and photo this pain is most likely due to tendon strain tibialis posterior or early plantar fascia strain which can cause pain without visible swelling and often does not respond quickly to painkillers alone avoid long walks barefoot walking and hard footwear for now and switch to soft cushioned shoes with good arch support stop hot water soaks for a few days and use cold ice packs 2–3 times daily instead.
