Can I use hair serums with redensyl, procapil, anagain, capilia longa for long term (4-5 years) applied on a daily basis? Will there be any side effects?
I've heard hair fall off once we discontinue its usage. Just want to consult before a long term commitment.

Hello,
Thank you for your query.
• Based on the information provided, it is difficult to suggest the most appropriate treatment without a proper assessment, as several skin conditions can appear similar.
• Kindly share clear photographs of the affected area in good lighting along with details such as duration of the problem, symptoms, and any treatments used previously.
• I would advise against starting any OTC creams or self-medication, as some products may worsen the condition or delay proper treatment.
• An accurate diagnosis is the first step towards effective and long-lasting results.
You may book a consultation for a detailed evaluation and a personalized treatment plan. I would be happy to guide you further.
Yes these are plant and peptide-based ingredients and are generally safe for long-term daily use. No major side effects are known with any of them. The hair fall after stopping concern is mainly associated with Minoxidil â these serums do not have the same dependency effect. However if the underlying cause of hair loss is not addressed, hair may gradually thin again after stopping â but that is the condition returning, not a withdrawal effect from the serum.
Next Steps
Safe to continue long-term. Also address the root cause of your hair loss alongside the serum â whether it is nutritional, hormonal or genetic. Consult me on Practo if you need a complete hair loss evaluation.
