hello, you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. If required get an x-ray done. if there is a cavity, you need to get it filled. If there is infection to the root of the tooth, you need to get it treated.

Hello, As we say "prevention is always better than cure". You should spare some time for you to get it done. Here is some comparision if u dont get it done immediately. It needs filling (not sure as pain has already started in gums) or a root canal(if already damaged living part of teeth i.e pulp) Filling cost u less Require one sitting Can be done in 20 minutes Tooth remains original Can work for 5-15 more years approx Painless Root canal- expensive Need a crown after that Minimum 2-4 sittings Local anesthesia required so a little uncomfortable Tooth becomes dead Chances of breakage high Now choice is yours

Respected ma'am,time might be precious but a tooth is once gone, its gone forever! Kindly take some time from your busy schedule and visit a dentist or the pain will increase and then you will have to go to a dentist.
Next Steps
use of a chlorhexidine mouthwash may be helpful as it reduces the bacterial load inside the mouth.but visit to a dentist is must!!

As the saying goes, "A stitch in time saves nine." You should invest some time for your condition right now or else you will later have to spend a lot of time for it. The cavity inside your tooth is an obvious sign to consult a Dentist. Also the onset of pain means the caries inside your tooth has reached the pulp. If this is true then you would have to go through Root Canal Treatment followed by a Dental Crown.
Next Steps
Visit a Dentist, get X-rays done and accordingly plan out the treatment.
