If you have injured the gum and teeth base while eating mango and notice a small space or detachment between the gum and the teeth, here are a few suggestions: Rinse with saltwater: Rinse your mouth with warm saltwater (1/2 teaspoon of salt in 8 ounces of warm water) several times a day. This can help keep the area clean, reduce bacteria, and promote healing. Avoid further irritation: Try to avoid touching or probing the affected area with your tongue or any objects. This can help prevent further irritation and allow the gum to heal. Maintain good oral hygiene: Continue brushing your teeth gently twice a day and flossing daily. Be careful around the affected area and try to be gentle to avoid aggravating the injury. Soft diet: Stick to a soft diet for a few days to give the area time to heal. Avoid hard, crunchy, or sticky foods that may put additional pressure on the gum and teeth. Monitor the situation: Keep an eye on the condition of the area. If the pain or detachment persists or worsens, it's important to seek professional dental advice. The dentist will be able to evaluate the situation and provide appropriate treatment if necessary. Remember, these suggestions are general in nature and it's always best to consult with a dentist for an accurate diagnosis and specific recommendations based on your individual circumstances. They can assess the injury, determine if any treatment is needed, and provide guidance for proper healing.

Though it will heal on its own, do not keep touching it with your finger.tongue or any foreign object. You can apply a gum paint or anesthetic gel to soothe the discomfort such as gummex/ sensoform/ dologel.
