Usually to treat periodontal pocket, curettage and root planning can be done.if pocket is associated with wisdom tooth and is infected, get the wisdom tooth removed. You can consult through this for prescription of medication to relieve infection.

First we need to identify how deep is the periodontal pocket is for that you need to visit a dentist as soon as possible.
Next Steps
If its too deep and the tooth has severe loss of gingival attachment then extraction might be a good option considering its a wisdom tooth. If the pocket is not much deeper and you have infection you might get root canal treatment done for it.

To prevent such situation you need to follow proper oral hygiene and get a routine checkup done once every 6 months. If you have any habits such as smoking,tobacco chewing,etc you need to stop them immediately.
