My lower left gum is bleeding since last few months. The teeth near the bleeding and the teeth above it is capped 8 years ago. Now one doctor says that there is infection and i need to do root canal and capping again and the other doctor says that due to tooth decay on other side, my jaw balance is disturbed and i need to balance my jaw actually.

There is no need of root canal for bleeding gums unless has deep cavity . Scaling may be necessary followed by an X-ray to check if there is any decay . If your old crown has some gaps as it meets then gum margin it can too cause germ build up and subsequent gum bleeding . So check with a dentist who is considering all these factors
